More of social media is unspoken than people think

I think it’s interesting how contrasting people’s perspectives are regarding social media.  For example, let’s take a specific aspect: building the number of LinkedIn connections you have.  Of the top of my head, I can think of 3 ways people may think about this aspect of social media.

1.)   I really don’t understand this thing but I like being able to find people I know and add them as connections!

2.)   Strong network but not quality, I already have “500+”.  Now I like gaining connections over 501 so I can go through and delete one more person I do not really feel connected with.

3.)   I do not care how many connections I have, just as long as they are solid and strong relationships that I can depend on.

This matured understanding of the global population can be used to make enterprising leaps and create productive corporate cultures of any scale.

AND, I want to share my thoughts on all of this with anyone that cares to listen. (read…)
